Gobo.

Picture
Because the guests will be sitting at their reception seats during the ceremony, the linens and centerpieces are essentially the ceremony decorations as well. The only things we'll be adding for the ceremony are a tall black lantern for the memorial candle, and a "gobo" which will be projected onto the red curtain covering the movie screen. The sound and lighting guy at Lakewood told me that it would be better to just make a logo in Powerpoint and he would project that instead of a gobo. Which I am all for since it saves us $100 or more!

Linens.

Picture
For linens, we are doing black tablecloths with red velvet runners. The tables are very narrow, so we are actually using chair ties as table runners. I think the look will be dramatic but go with the space.

Centerpieces.

The tables at Lakewood are long and skinny, so we are going to need a lot of small centerpieces. So I have purchased a bunch of small faux pumpkins that we will paint silver. We're going to do groupings of the silver pumpkins with small black lanterns. Update: the first two pictures below are of our actual centerpieces. They're simple, but I think they'll look great on the linens.
